Thus Far...
Life so far has been... well... I can only say, ' So far so good.'
I'm thankful that my job is what I wanted and the decision to further my studies was right. Looking back, it's amazing how things fall into place. My Boss and colleagues are such nice people to work with, though work started on a slow note and sometimes I wonder if more things can come along. Yet, I know that they are trying to ease me in and not make me work like a slave. More duties and projects are coming along and I hope I can perform well =)
Maybe like a Simpsons trailer I've watched. The bunny in the trailer was dancing happily and smelling the flowers in the garden, when suddenly someone or something shot its happiness down. I don't know why and how, I am so frustrated with the very people living on this part of earth.
There are ever inconsiderate people around here.
They don’t care about being rude to you when you are the customer requesting for an item. They correct you rudely when you name the item wrongly as if you are supposed to know its professional name. They also don’t care if you are the customer trying to be helpful by holding the door for the waitress carrying a chair into the restaurant. They walked right through and never thank you for that little gesture as if they are the customer and you are the waitress. They also quickly tell you that the store doesn’t accept more than 4 5-cents coins for a purchase. I wonder if the customer is able to turn down receiving more than 4 5-cents coins change from the sales assistant too.
They don’t care if they park next to you in the train within just a few cm away. They don’t care if they brush you every few seconds because they feel that it’s normal while it’s actually not normal for you. They don’t care if their bags are banging onto you at the slightest movement of the train or of their own. They don’t really care too if they stand right in front of you when you are actually queuing because everyone else is doing that. They don’t care if they accidentally step onto the heels of your shoes and don’t bother to even apologize to you. They don’t care if the flap of their handphone flips open and blocks the vision of your own mobile when you were typing a message.
Why have the people here turned into people as such? Sigh... I miss the friendly people who has blue eyes, blonde hair, Snow-White skin and generously say the word, ‘Cheers,' or 'No worries.'
Here is safe, convenient and fast. But the people here are crappy...
Thank God, the job here is good. Stay that way, ya? Pleeaaaasseeee....
Erh by the way, here's the trailer that I was talking about.
