Resolutions (Directions for the year ahead)
I don't know what lies ahead, but I know because of what happened last year, some things ought to be done:
1) Get rid of friends who put me down or make use of me. I guess I only have time to establish meaningful friendships.
2) Never lose sight of my dreams: study hard!
3) Exercise spiritual disciplines to trim off my spiritual fats and sluggishness! That means daily prayers to start and end my day, daily bible reading before I start my activities for the day.
4) Diet. No worries I don't have a weight problem or compulsive food binges even though I live in food paradise Singapore. I just want to eat wisely. If I eat, I must as well have it good. Eat all the good stuff that my body needs. Out goes the oily food and trash. They belong to the bin.
5) Besides trimming off my spiritual fats, I need to keep my physical body healthy! Yes, I need to get my lazy bones working again. Start playing my favorite sports!
6) There is no such thing as an ugly girl but a lazy girl. This applies to me big time. Haiz... I've got to keep my beauty regime going... and going and going...
