Shelter Over My Head
Bad news. This is really bad news. I might not have a shelter over my head

"Here is an update for accommodation in 2006.
Graduate House is now full for Semester 1, 2006.
There are no more single rooms left at the Packard Wing in Bruce Hall.
There are a small number of double rooms still available at the Packard Wing. These rooms cost $250 per week, include a double bed and are suitable for couples.
Burgmann College is allocating rooms now.
Please contact me if you are interested in a double room at the Packard Wing at Bruce Hall or a room in the Postgraduate Village at Burgmann College.
Unfortunatly our rooms for Postgraduate students are starting to run out. It is very important that you start looking for alternative accommodation now.WHAT NEXT?In order to look for rental accommodation we strongly advise you come at least 2-3 weeks before classes commence in order to give yourself time to search for rental accommodation.
Looking for accommodation does take time - be patient, persistent and positive!”

What is this?! I registered triply early in August and now with an e-mail you dashed my hopes?!
You want me to wait until 20 Jan? How to book air-tickets and look for accommodation 2-3 weeks before classes start? I am beginning to feel all the advice given and the advance planning cannot stand against Murphy's Law. Should I contact them for a room at Bruce Hall or Burgmann College? Should I secure a room first? But wait, my first choice is Burton & Garran and Fenner Hall. And they are cheaper. Why should I? But, but I don't wanna live alone in a foreign land especially in my first year and wanna experience hall life don't I?
Yet I don't want to do anything now. I don't want to scamper and change my air-tickets, send e-mail and secure a place at Burgmann College which I might not get anyway. I don't want to play game theory, put up a fight or gamble my chances. I want to commit everything into God's hands and let Him lead me to my shelter next year.
God, please help me. Please give me a room.

Life is beautiful,
Dance like no one is watching,
Love like you will never get hurt,
Love like you will never get hurt,
Sing like no one is listening,
Live like it is heaven on earth,
Enjoy this day.
