Christmas Day (Overdue Post)

Rise and shine! Off to church for Christmas service! Feels so good being in the house of God, watching the skit and listening to the message. I was reminded of the meaning of Christmas again when the closing song was sung, ‘We were the reason.’ It never fails to remind me why I'm standing here in church, on Christmas Day and any other day in the year...

The rest of the day was in great anticipation of the Christmas dinner at Eipsy's orange house. Chief Ong whipped out a delicious meal for all of us, all on his own. Bravo! *claps* Besides, the great food laid before us, we had so much fun and were all roaring with laughter all the time. The great exchange came and our pressies were given to the rightful owners.

We jet off to the cinema to watch 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. Wow! Great movie! Having read the book, the visual impact of the movie was simply stunning and a feast for the eye and imagination. It was very faithful to the book and in fact brought life to the words. Print has come alive! However I felt that it wasn't as captivating as some of the fantasy movies.
